As I said in my last post, I have a very inquisitive mind and my absolute favorite word is “why”. Discovering and learning new pieces of information appeases me. This blog will help me do exactly that. I have many questions regarding Aortic Stenosis that are still left unanswered since the death of my dad.
The most important thing I would like to know is “Why is the diagnosis and treatment time for patients with Aortic Stenosis so prolonged if the treatment determines whether or not you live or not? This question has lingered in my mind for ages now, and I’m determined to figure out the answer. I would also like to know is "Does treatment lower the death rate of those who suffered from Aortic Stenosis?" “How can this disease be prevented?” Another question that has made me wonder is “Because of the immense time between diagnosis and treatment, do physicians not take Aortic Stenosis as seriously as they should?” One last question I would like to jot down here is “How many people have deceased of Aortic Stenosis because they were left untreated?” I feel that these questions will make my research more concise and in-depth and cause me to find the answers I have been looking for.

Kirsten, this is a really good topic choice. I bet it was hard to lose your dad, especially when the doctors told you he was fine. Before I read your blog I had never heard of Aortic Stenosis. After reading your posts, I can tell that you know quite a bit about this disease already. However, I hope you find out all of the information you need to about Aortic Stenosis. I will be interested in learning more about this disease as well, as you complete your research.
ReplyDeleteOnce again I am sorry for the loss of your dad. I feel the same way as Dan did that you have a strong grasp on your topic.
