What I Already Know About My Topic

My curiosity has led me to further research about Aortic Stenosis. I wondered what in the world it was; I wasn’t informed about it as a kid, most likely to avoid upset in a child of only seven years old. I am very intrigued of the human body and all of the functions it can do, whether if it is voluntary or involuntary. I understand why I was so curious about this mysterious heart disease my dad, of all people deceased of. Your heart’s aorta is a large vein-like passageway from the left side of your heart that provides the rest of your body with oxygenated blood. That’s where the “Aortic” in Aortic Stenosis derives from. In a nutshell, Aortic Stenosis is when the aortic valve in your heart becomes narrower and obstructed over a period of time. This illness can be caused by many factors; Age, being born with it, even severe cases of strep throat can cause this condition. Aortic Stenosis worsens over time and at different paces for all affected people. And at one point or another, surgery is required. I have researched many procedures that could be done for patients with Aortic Stenosis, and there is actually a lot that could be done. Getting a mechanic aortic valve, a transplant, or at times repairing the aortic valve is an option. All of them is minimally invasive, but like any heart or any bodily surgery for that matter does take some money out of your wallet. As you can see, my inquiring mind has led me to an abundance of useful information.
