Photo, Caption, and Citation #1



This  is a picture of a direct comparison between a normal heart and a heart with Aortic Stenosis affecting it. I feel like this picture is one of the easiest explanations for Aortic Stenosis. As you can see, the aortic valve is very weak and narrow compared the to normal heart. Also, the ventricle's lining is much more thick with a heart with Aortic Stenosis. This is part of the reason why Aortic Stenosis causes your heart to work harder, since there is more barriers on the heart.
